I'm sorry but I just can't see the point. It's time consuming to write, hardly anyone will read it, and it's a waste of computer storage space.

Granted the last one is a bit tenuous but the rest stands. There are many people out there already writing blogs which are useful, witty and topical. If I want help on website development there's usually someone out there generous enough to have written a post about it. But many (the majority?) of blogs are drivel, written by people rehashing truisms, shibboleths and pseudo babble. Just type in 'intelligent design blog' into Google and you will see what I mean. In my business, 'intelligent design' means graphic design which serves its purpose and does its job. The oxymoronic concept of 'intelligent design' does neither of these, and purely exists for misguided individuals who can't face the facts and don't understand what a fossil is.

Now I have got that off my chest I can go back to doing something useful. The problem with so many blogs is that they don't stop there.
